• 30 years of teaching experience, including course design and development and delivery of courses in the classroom and via the Internet
• 24 years of running own companies
• Several years of full-time application development and tech support in mainframe and client-server environments
• Several years of management in large corporations, including managing projects in a tech support area, and managing instructors in a training group

Technical credentials

• Client-server: 10 to 20 years of experience in application development tools such as Visual Studio .NET, C#, Visual Basic, PowerBuilder
• Relational databases: 20+ years of experience in DB2, Oracle, Sybase, Microsoft SQL Server, and Access, and the SQL language
• Web development, using ASP.NET, JavaScript, Ajax, MVC Framework
• IBM MVS environment: 30+ years of experience, involving most major languages (COBOL, Assembler, PL/I), most software (CICS, IMS, DB2), TSO, JCL, hardware and software installs
